With nearly 20 years combined teaching experience, Claire and Hayley have put together the type of Yoga Teacher Training they would want to experience — one that grows confident teachers, while honouring tradition and fostering a continuing curiosity of this deep and valuable practice.

This training is in-person and part time.

Running over 3 months every second weekend with a seven and five day intensive at the beginning and end of the course.

In this training you will learn

How to skilfully develop, sequence and teach yoga asana to all levels

The rich origins and history of yoga

Yoga philosophy and how it applies to our modern world

An introductory understanding of Ayurveda and how it applies to our yoga practice and teaching

Pranayama, mantra and meditation practices

A broad understanding of anatomy and how it specifically applies to asana

Yogic maps of the body and mind

An understanding of the energy systems and the subtle body

Sanskrit grammar and pronunciation

How to give safe and effective hands on assists

How to verbally assist students of all levels

Adjustments, modifications and considerations for injury

Modifications for pregnancy and the menstrual cycle

FAQs

  • This training is for anyone curious about yoga and craving a deeper understanding of the practice. While we place great emphasis on creating teachers who can really teach, this training is suitable for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of yoga.

  • Yes, our 200 hour training is Yoga Alliance certified.

  • Ideally we would like at least 12 months of consistent yoga practice under your belt. This will assist in your understanding of the practice and how to teach it.

  • About three months.
    Our training runs part time between August 18th and November 2nd 2025.

    7 day intensive: 18th - 24th August

    Weekend one: 5th - 7th September

    Weekend two:
    19th - 21st September

    Weekend three:
    3rd - 5th October

    Weekend four:
    17th - 19th October

    5 day intensive:
    29th October -2nd November

  • You are required to have 100% attendance of the course.
    There will also be a written assessment, and a practical teaching assessment.
    This is required for anyone wanting the certification. If you do not wish to teach, you do not have to do the practical exam.
