The Studio

We are on the Fourth Floor of Studio 65 - the same building as Bett Gallery.
Level 4, 65 Murray St, Hobart/nipaluna.To find us, head through the glass doors next to Lush Cosmetics and take the elevator or stairs up to level four.

Folde Yoga School welcomes all levels! Our classes are designed for everyone, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
If you’re really unsure, start with our Yoga Basics class. -
Absolutely! Our Yoga Basics classes are great starting points for beginners, but we welcome all levels in all classes.Please let the teacher know you are new to yoga and always practice at your own pace.

Comfortable clothing that you can stretch and easily breathe in. You don’t need shoes for your yoga practice.

Bring a mat if you have one and a water bottle. We also have mats available to borrow if you do not have your own.

Yes, mats are available for your use freely!

Unfortunately we do not have space in the studio for students to leave their mats. If you don’t want to bring yours, you’re welcome to borrow one of ours for free!

Yes, we have a gender neutral bathroom with two private shower cubicles with body wash for you to utilise pre or post class.

No. You will need to bring your own towel.

Our classes are warm, but not hot.
We have heating for cooler days and our studio is elevated, warm and gets a lot of sunlight. -
If you have an injury, please get the all-clear from your doctor before attending our classes. Make the teacher aware of all injuries before the class. Listen to what your body is telling you and move accordingly. Please do not practice if you have a cold or flu. Stay home and rest, and remember to cancel any class bookings.
Class Bookings + Cancellations

You can book classes via our website, the Momence app or directly at the studio.

Students may be automatically added to a class from the waitlist up to 5 hours before the class start time, at which time an email and text message will confirm the booking.
Within 5 hours of a class start time, the waitlist order will no longer apply. If a spot becomes available, the system will notify all students on the waitlist. The first to respond will receive the booking, which will be held for 15 minutes before release if unclaimed.

To allow all students a fair chance to attend, cancellations should be made as soon as possible if students are unable to attend.
Cancellations made up to 4 hours before class start time will not incur a penalty. Cancellations within this window will result in the class being forfeited (for Drop Ins, Class Packs and Two Folde Memberships).
If you have an unlimited membership, you will only be charged if you late cancel or no show three times in one month.
If you late cancel or no show three times in one month, you will be charged $10.Cancellations must be made via the Studio’s app or website. Phone, email, or social media cancellations are not accepted.

All event ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another person with at least 72 hours' notice by contacting the studio via email or phone.
Late entry to events will not be permitted.

Yes. Please send us an email to do so.
Direct debit memberships are allowed one pause every six months for a minimum of two weeks.
The same applies for 6 and 12 month memberships.
You will need to email us minimum 5 days in advance to pause your membership. -
To add or update a card, from the ‘Home’ screen in our app, head to ‘Account’ and select ‘Payment methods’ then ‘Add a new card’.
Alternatively, you can update these details with us in the studio by calling us or by signing in to your account here.

If you have forgotten your password, please select ‘Forgot Password?’ on our app's ‘Log In’ screen. If you still need help, please email the studio and we'll send you an email that prompts you to create a new password.

If you’d like to cancel or pause your membership please email us at hello@foldeyoga.com.
We will need 5 days notice to cancel and your membership will cease at the end of the next billing period.
Please note, most memberships have a lock in contract of 10 weeks. You will be unable to cancel during this timeframe as per the details in your contract. -
Unfortunately not, these packs are heavily subsidised and designed to be used within a fixed period; they cannot be paused or extended. Only our memberships can be paused.

As per our Terms, we don't offer extensions on Intro Offers or Class Packs for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason, including the inability to utilise all classes before pack expiration.

Yes, gift cards are available online via our app or website. Alternatively, you can purchase a gift voucher in house.

As per Australian consumer law, you have three years to utilise your gift voucher.

Yes! We have a postpartum membership for new mothers. You can find these at the bottom of our ‘memberships and pricing’ page.
Workshops + Events

Folde is a hub for yoga education in Hobart. We offer workshops and events that align with our ethos and values. Please reach out via the contact form to see if we can work together to bring great yoga, movement and mindfulness practices to nipaluna.
Pre + Post Natal

You are welcome to attend any and all classes, however depending on your preference and personal experience, you may prefer to attend slow flow or yin classes, especially in the third trimester. Please let your teacher know that you are pregnant so we can accommodate your needs.

We don’t currently offer pre + post natal specific classes, however Sandy, Claire and Hayley are all trained and will be happy to help you modify. We reccommend getting the all-clear from your medical professional before attending class.

While it is generally safe to return to exercise 12 weeks postpartum, we recommend checking with your medical professional for abdominal and pelvic floor check up before participating in regular classes again.
